AWSExporter extracts configuration information about resources you create in AWS into an Excel file.

🔧 Installation

1. Download aws-exporter-v3.1.6-RELEASE.zip to your local path and run install
2. Unzip file
3. install jar - it will be download dependencies and make structures

$ java -jar aws-exporter-3.1.6-RELEASE-full.jar

📁 Program Structure

Your path -
          |- aws-exporter-3.1.6-RELEASE-full.jar
          |- startAWSExporter.bat (created at install)
          |- lib (created at install)
          |- conf (created when running startAWSExport.bat)
               |- env.bat
               |- awsExporter.data
          |- exports (created at export)

▶️ Running Program

$ startAWSExporter.bat

📝 Output Excel File

Output file will be create in exports directory.

Output File Naming Format :

[Access Name][Region Name] AWSExport-[Export time].xlsx

aws-exporter's Issues

enhancement: Need to output information related to AutoScalling.

I hope that the auto scaling group associated with EC2 will also be output to Excel.

Some EC2 Instance Column is wrong

Incorrect IP column value in EC2 sheet on excel output

(EIP and Priavate DNS order reversed.)

I am using this open source well in my work.
