@AntSimi you made amazing documentation.
1.would you add a little bit of how to plot track [cyclonic and anticyclone] with indicating origin point and decay point?
is there any way to separate particular eddies and measure their velocity and their movement [which direction they are moving]

  1. can I make crop or extract the densest area of cyclonic/ anticyclonic activities or how to convert it into shapefiles?

  2. can we calculate how many eddies in each 1-degree grid ?

Hi,

  1. Maybe look at this for origin and this for death, to do selection look at all extract function
  2. The are no function to convert eddies in shapefile, if you want a contribution is welcome.
  3. Look at grid_count function

from py-eddy-tracker.

Hi,

Could you @AntSimi please write code for seasonal distribution of eddies?
I appreciate your help.

from py-eddy-tracker.

There is no existing example for that you must do seasonal extraction with this function extract_with_mask, create mask with appropriate function on time
