I'm currently implementing authentication to my GraphQL server that also happens to support subscription. I ran into a problem when trying to authenticate a client while it is connected and listening to the server. It works fine to authenticate either by wrapping an authenticate function around the subscribe property in my Subscription object or adding the authentication in the onConnect function in the subscription server. I thought I could just wrap the same function around the resolve property in the Subscription object but it turns out that context does is cached by the server. So in the event that a client loses a header token during a connection, it will still maintain its rights to receive data from the server.

Is there a way to refresh the context before a client receive data after a pubsub publish?
