pe's Issues

User is not warned when marking "done" events as done again

If the done command is executed on an event already marked done, the command runs normally with no warning given (which would help the user in case he selected an incorrect index, in case it cannot be distinguished that easily by name).

Date formats not clearly explained

The date formats for the profile command and the event command are not the same, but this is not indicated in the UG.

Further, users may not know what

dd/mm/yy, dd/MM/yy HHmm, HHmm, dd/mm/yyyy, dd/MM/yyyy HHmm or DAY_OF_THE_WEEK

refer to.

`delete` multistep command is not user-friendly

delete multistep command does not show the user a list of his events. This makes index selection a shot in the dark for him, and he cannot back out of the deletion except by entering an out-of-bounds value or closing the program.

No mechanism provided for escaping keywords in input

No mechanism is available in any command for escaping keywords, and no warning is given regarding possible clashes with keywords. This would prove a problem when users attempt to input data that is valid (e.g. a place name containing the word "between") but contains a keyword.

`newItinerary` command dates are meaningless

newItinerary requires dates to specify the length of the itinerary, but these dates are never again shown to the user or used for anything (since recommending an itinerary selects the itinerary based on length not date). It adds complexity to the command with no benefit to the user.

As seen in the images above, even picking the two dates which were specified does not recommend that particular itinerary.

No documentation on how location names are parsed

The parsing of location names is essential to this product, but it is unclear how it is done in cases where it is ambiguous. For example, in this image, the search term China could refer to many different locations with China in their name.

However, the product silently makes the decision for the user. The basis of this decision is not documented in the UG, nor does it state that such silent decisions are made. This would be especially significant when performing operations like editing in edit mode.
