VarCrunch is a germline and somatic variant caller that runs on Hadoop using the Apache (S)Crunch API
The variant calling algorithms themselves are from Guacamole, but VarCrunch serves as a wrapper to process DNA sequencing reads on Hadoop using MapReduce.
