BudgetBuddy is an AI personal finance management tool that helps individuals take control of their finances, track expenses, set budgets, and work toward their financial goals.

• Backend: Node.js, Express.js

• Frontend: Angular

• Database: MySql (with Prisma ORM)

• Authentication: Firebase

Installation

1. Clone the repository:

   shell git clone https://github.com/HackStackPakistan/hspk-23-budget-buddy.git cd hspk-23-budget-buddy

2. Install dependencies for both the backend and frontend:

   shell cd backend npm install cd ../frontend npm install

3. Set up your environment variables:

   Create a .env file in the backend directory and add your configuration.

4. Start the application:

   shell cd backend npm start

   cd frontend
   ng serve
   
   
   Visit `http://localhost:4200` in your web browser to access BudgetBuddy.
