The updated SDK and engine bring the ability to cancel a plugin via a signal. This plugin should be updated to be able to run indefinitely until explicitly cancelled, either via the signal in the case of a workflow or via keyboardinterrupt in the case of the stand-alone plugin.

Additional context

The PCP plugin can be used as a reference for implementing this enhancement.
