Binding DOES NOT WORK

The graphql-binding , when used in an example, returns this error TypeError: Cannot read property 'countries' of undefined. It seems like it is not detecting my binding which I have imported as
const WorldCountriesBinding = require('graphql-binding-world-countries/dist')
and defined as

const schema = require('./schema')
export const WorldCountriesBinding = makeBindingClass({schema});

My schema has the countries typedef like so

and resolver like so
