sketchbook's Issues

When random or noisy values are used, display them on the page.

Include thumbnails with RSS feed

Possibilities:

• node-canvas: Learning that could set me up for more integrations.
• puppeteer: That's probably the easiest way.

Use front matter in sketch js files

That innerHTML business to add instructions for interacting with the sketch is silly. Add some YAML front matter to the pages and a way to read it on build.

Create animations from puppeteer

• https://www.npmjs.com/package/puppeteer-recorder
• Somehow indicate in code if we should capture video or still

Separate RSS feed into separate function

• Generate as part of yarn share only
• Get file size of image so it's not 0

Provide links on each sketch to GitHub source

Only rebuild pages that have changed when running yarn serve

Fit sketches to screens

The proportion of the sketches is good, but what if the user's browser is wider than it is tall? What if the user is on mobile? Can the sketch adapt? Seems like it might be a limitation of p5.

Generate higher resolution images

• Increase pixel resolution in Puppeteer for higher resolution images
• Generate separate thumbnail images
• Push images to a CDN or something so I'm not hosting big-ass images in GitHub

pathPrefix

Hi Arlo, I'm follow you on Instagram

I'm facing an errors trying to use pathPrefix on my fork.
For some reason the components seems won't respect the prefix (the links yes).

I'll still research what's wrong, If do you have an idea, I'll keep watching this issue as well.

Build to gh-pages branch automatically

Is this a job for CI?

Improve the navigation

Does a list of dates mean anything? Probably not. Just provide ⬅️ ➡️ navigation to flip through them.
