Currently, the profile tool is globally installed for the lizmap version. It would be an added advantage if users could activate the usage of the tool based on permissions offered in lizmap.

Like other modules, it could be nice to move the code in its own directory.

Je tente d'Integer le module altiProfil sur mon instance lizmap (3.5) en utilisant mon propre DEM sur un serveur PostgreSQL diffèrent du lizmap.
La connexion au raster se fait bien, mais je n'arrive pas à obtenir le profil et je retrouve systématiquement cette erreur dans les logs de lizmap :
Erreur dans la requête (ERREUR: la fonction st_makepoint(numeric, numeric) n'existe pas LINE 4: ST_Transform(ST_SetSRID(ST_MakePoint(3.55783... HINT: Aucune fonction ne correspond au nom donné et aux types d'arguments. Ce que je ne comprends pas bien, car la requête semble fonctionnelle. Et elle fonctionne directement en console sur le serveur Postgres.

J'ai bien tenter de contraindre en ajoutant des ::float directement sans altiprofil.ini.php sans succès.

To install it "the right way" in Lizmap Web Client, the module should provide an architecture compatible with Composer https://getcomposer.org/

• Move the code into a specific altiProfil directory
• Add a composer.json file describing the package
• Move README and other files such (changelogs, etc.)

In the config the admin should have the possibility to specify if the slope must be computed in degrees or percent.

The changes made in #19 force the minimum PostGIS version to 3.2.

What about a way to declare, for each published QGIS project, a different PostgreSQL rater table to use ?

This would allow users with many maps in different areas to use the correct precise DEM for the map.

Possible options

• add a configuration as a JSON file, alongside the QGIS project. myproject.qgs.altiprofil with no sensitive credentials, but the schema and table of the dem. The sensitive credentials will remain in the localconfig.ini.php
• add the altiprofil module in Lizmap sources, and add a new tab in lizmap QGIS plugin to configure.

The profile tool is cool but we also need to be able to export the profile to png or other image formats.
Add option to include this onto a map layout

thanks for this really nice tool! I just managed to install it successfully and connect it with my DEM held in a PostGRES Database. I just ran in one error: sometimes the profile seems to be a "circle" (see screenshots attached).

If i replicated the same profile line with the same DEM loaded in QGIS, i get the following profile:

Nous utilisons notre propre MNT dans une BD Postgis afin de créer le profil.

Les fichiers profiles.ini.php et altProfil.inin.php ont été édités en conséquence.

Cependant, lors de l'utilisation de l'outil, ce dernier reste suspendu:
