Goncierge - A Meeting Room Robot

This project is for GopherGala 2014 and also ShopKeep Code Smash. We will be building a meeting room robot that will be able to detect when people are in the room and notify an external service that the meeting is active.

Getting Started

- Install Go
- Install Gobot.io
    `go get -d -u github.com/hybridgroup/gobot/... && go install github.com/hybridgroup/gobot/platforms/raspi`
- Setup cross compiler for Raspberry Pi
    `cd /usr/local/bin/go/src`
    `sudo GOOS=linux GOARCH=arm ./make.bash --no-clean`
- Compile Goncierge 
    `GOARM=6 GOARCH=arm GOOS=linux go build goncierge.go`
- Upload binary to Raspberry Pi
    `scp goncierge [email protected]:/home/pi/` 
- Execute binary on Raspberry Pi
    `ssh [email protected]`
    `./goncierge`
- Profit :)

Options:
    -host         The goncierge host
    -room_slug    The goncierge room slug
