This repository contains the source code and documentation for the Career Guidance Cell (CGC) website of the Indian Institute of Information Technology Dharwad (IIIT Dharwad).

About the Project

The CGC website serves as a bridge between IIIT Dharwad and industry recruiters. It provides information on placement opportunities, career guidance, and the benefits of recruiting from our institute. Here's what this project involved:

  • Prototyping and Design: The project started with creating a detailed prototype in Figma, capturing the website's layout, color scheme, and user interactions.
  • Frontend Development: The website was developed using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with Swiper.js for interactive components like carousels.
  • Graphics and Visuals: Custom graphics and images were designed using Canva, ensuring a visually appealing and professional look.
  • Collaboration and Deployment: The project was a team effort, with multiple iterations and feedback sessions. The final version was deployed on the main IIIT Dharwad website.

Project Timeline

This project was developed between June 2023 and August 2023. The initial design phase in Figma was followed by frontend development and collaborative feedback sessions. After gaining approval from the CGC administration, the website was deployed to the IIIT Dharwad main site.
