The purpose of this repository is to provide the code and files used for the analysis conducted in the manuscript with the above title.

Important notes for navigation of the repository:

• .md files contain code for various analyses and visualization efforts.
• raw_data: necessary input files obtained from the NanoString Advanced Analysis software as well as files containing proteomic from Gutierrez-Quiceno et al., 2021.
• stats_results: output of various statistical analyses.
• figures: output of data visualizations - these files were used for figures in the manuscript.
• genelists_for_omiccomparisons: lists of genes/proteins that were compared - see GO_analysis_2.md for further explanation.
