Binge-Watch

Light-weight playlist manager. Requires VLC media player. To use this program VLC must be in PATH variable in windows.

Usage

Install required libraries.

pip install -r requirements.txt

Then run the main file.

python Ui.py

General Information

After the main windows pops up. Add your movie/series directories. The program is capable of looking one directory deeper. This means if your inserted directory has subfolders that contain the video files then the subfolders will be listed. Select any one of the series listed in the screen after some movie/series have been added. If there are sub folders click the subfolder in the list box at the bottom of window. Then click "Resume/Start Watching" to start watching from the episode you left off. The program remembers which episode you left off, and with correct playback resume settings in VLC the binge-watching experience is great. Click "Prev" or "Next" to watch previous or next episodes.

First Run

During first run you can specify which episode to start at. But you can do that at any other time too. If nothing is specified playing starts from first episode during first run and resumes at the left off episode during future runs.

Manual Change

You may manually change the "True" and "False" values in the "playlist.txt" file in the series directory. "True" episode is the one currently playing.
