Description

For the front-end portion of my course, I have created Foodie, an advanced recipe resource and meal planning app. Using the Spoonacular Recipe API, this allows users to search for and save their favorite recipes and products. Features include multiple search options, such as Advanced Search and "What's in my fridge", where users can search for recipes based on what they have on hand.

Generate a shopping list with all the products from the meal plan

Create project skeleton in Angular

Output will be recipes that match those products

Create Firebase app

Meal plan board

Allow user to:

• create a new meal plan
• filter by meal plan
• view/delete recipe on board
• summarize the macronutrients AND cost

Detailed Recipe Page

Create a recipe page and view it using Firebase

Sidenav with Recipe Search

• Find the API in Spoonacular
• Allow advanced (diet, cuisine, intolerance, type) or custom recipe search
• Allow use to search and display the cards with product description
• Allow use to add to meal plan as card
