Wish there could be an option to customize the first option as 10 seconds is not really useful at all, I think something like 30m or 1h would make more sense, but anyhow would be cool if one could configure it on Settings or even get prompted in how many minutes/hours you want this tab to come back instead of current default of just 10 seconds:

Instead of pop up an alert at restoring a tab, you should use a desktop notification with the option to ignore the message or jump right into it.

What is the update process for manually installed extensions like? Will I have to check back here or can you send your users a notification prompting to update?

Allow for picking custom date and time

Allows for easy updating, etc, etc

Replace "10 seconds" with this option that does ~3 days

Snoozing for "Next week" on a Monday resurfaces the tabs almost immediately.

Encoding issue observed in snoozed tabs list:

Alt + S on eastern latin languages is needed to enter very popular letter "ś" - don't capture this shortcut ;)

Chrome supports waking up an event page at a specific time:
https://developer.chrome.com/extensions/alarms

By using that we wouldn't need the background script to be persistent and could switch to an event page:
https://developer.chrome.com/extensions/event_pages

That would save a lot of RAM when the extension is inactive.

Right-clicking on a page should show context-menu with options to snooze tab. Right-clicking on a link should allow to snooze that link.

For some reason, TabSnooze breaks http://travis-ci.org when logged into GitHub. It makes the entire screen 100% white.

Right now snoozed tabs come back from "sleep" on a new browser window. It would be more functional--for me--if they opened on the existing browser window instead.

awesome project and I'd love to use it, but syncing is a main priority for me. Have you considered using storage.sync for that or is there any argument against this? If not, I'd love to help.

Is this project the basis for http://tabsnooze.com, or an entirely parallel effort?

If I have two chrome windows open, snooze one tab for 10 seconds and focus the second chrome instance, the snoozed tab will reopen in a blank window, which is wrong. It should be reopened to the original window.

Maybe you could attach it to the users login session (chrome user function)?

i am interested to see the mail sending function.

are you using some free smtp gateway? or some paid one? if so, will later this extension need charge some days later.

It would kick some ass to have a repeating option in addition to the current layout that I can set to, say 10:00 am every day.

This would be great for something like Product Hunt that I check daily.

Keep track of all snoozes, pops, edits and so on. Allow option to clear history.

This is useful in case user clears all snoozed tabs by mistake.

I would really like to see an option for snoozing all tabs either from all open windows or a spesific one.

It would be extremely useful to be able to snooze 50-150 tabs for a day to use the browser for this and that in between and then return to your usual projects. Actually, that's what I thought this extension would do in the first place.

Just thought you may not sure whether you can access into the internet or not when you set the time.

PS. I thought it maybe better if it could be removed from the snoozed tabs list automatically after I clicked it. Now I have to delete it manually~

Love this idea! Any chance of implementing this also to Safari extension in the future?

When checking the list of snoozed tabs, I think it would be very helpful to be able to reschedule them from that list, using the same method previously used to schedule them: click on them & select a new date (a simple, two-step interaction). Something like this:

It would be great if you could make option to only show number of "popping" tabs on badge, not to spawn them in new window.
