clockpickerformendix's Issues

ClockPicker seems to change date aswell

Hi,

When I add the widget to a page with a dateTime attribuut (default value CurrentDateTime) with localize yes. For today that would be 2016-08-12 15:54. If I set the time to 00:05 the date jumps to 2016-08-13 00:05. Instead of 2016-08-12 00:05

I will add a test project soon, but I wanted to inform you about this behaviour.

With kind regards,
Stephan

Widget does not show validation feedback

Hello

I am trying to show validation feedback on an attribute used by the clockpicker widget.
But the feedback is not showing on the screen.

Is this a known issue?

Kind regards

Issue with Mendix 7

We recently upgraded to Mendix 7 and we start facing the Error "No constructor found for Widget".
Find the attached image for your reference. We're looking forward for your fix.

Thank You.

Styling question

Thank you for such a quick sollution :)
I noticed in the CSS that the styling is set as:
float: left;
padding-left: 15px;
padding-right: 15px;

Any reason for that? Because now the widget never lines with other objects in a grid. I used float right and zero padding myself.

Clock shows 0:00 PM when used with empty value with 24h time format

I'm using Mendix 6.6.0. Don't think this matters.

I have the Clock Picker for Mendix on a page connected to a datetime attribute that has an empty value. The time format is set to 24 Hour.

Now when I open the Clock Picker. It shows 00:00 PM. I've found 3 issues with this:

  1. 00:00 is AM and not PM
  2. The PM should not even be shown, since the time format is set to 24 Hour
  3. When you select a time below 12:00, say 10:00. This is stored as 22:00 since it thinks you selected 10:00 PM.

I don't this this is an issue with the widget itself, but in the library used. I've created a simpel fix in the library. Unfortunately the library itself is not maintained anymore.

Show Label - When DataView Non-Editable

Good day!

When DataViews have their Editability set to No, many widgets move to a read-only style. I noticed that the clockpicker still allows someone to edit the time. Is there a way to force the widget to display with the label in that case?

Possible issue with jqwrapper.js?

We just tried the model with this widget in the Mendix cloud but it seems that the jqwrapper.js can not be found and hence the start page of the model will not load. Could it be that the Mendix cloud is blocking this Javascript library?

Did you already try your widget in the Mendix cloud?

Regards,

Ronald

PhoneLayout with sidebar

When I add the widget to a page with layout "Phone_TopSidebar" (a default layout in Mendix 6.5.1) the date picker is positioned over the expanded menu section, see screenshot.

It is caused by the default bootstrap css:

.input-group .form-control {
z-index: 2;
}

I can't find why Bootstrap adds z-index: 2; to this element.

incompatibility with bootstrap multi select

we encountered a problem with BootstrapMultiSelectForMendix.mpk widget as soon we added ClockPickerforMendix.mpk to our pages.

  • clock picker is working fine and looks very good
  • bootstrap multi select stopped working

Position Issue With Mendix

  1. I added the Clock Picker in the Mendix.
  2. When I click the clock, its change the right scrollbar and then picker move with the scroll.

Add image for your reference. I'm using Mendix 6.10.2

Clockpicker on mobile

We are trying to create our app with phonegap to deploy on mobile devices but the clockpicker widget is throwing an error there. See also forum post [https://mxforum.mendix.com/questions/14222/Phonegap-only-showing-white-screen]. It is complaining that Bootstrap's Javascript requiers a higher jQuery library.

Contour

Hi Iain,
We've encountered an issue with the ClockPicker on a tablet (iPad Pro). When you don't push an hour or a time, for example when you've opened up the ClockPicker but you don't want to change anything, or you just want to change the hour but not the minutes, and instead of clicking inside the ClockPicker you click anywhere else on the page, outside the widget, the contour of the pop-up screen remains visible (see attached). I am eager to learn if this could perhaps be something you could fix. Thank you!
