gcplus-2.0's Issues

Stick calibration does not properly reflect real Gamecube controller stick range

When using a real Gamecube Controller, you roughly get 100 values out of each axis. This results in 229 being the cap.

When using the GC+ after calibration, the max value is 127. On paper this makes sense (255/2). In actuality, the gamecube sticks never reach their full values because of how the gate restricts the stick (and the stick thickness). The result is too much sensitivity in games requiring precision input such as Smash Melee as well as Super Mario.

My solution to fix-- cap the upper and lower bounds so they are 229 and 26 respectively, which will land you in the right sensitivity area.

Suggestion: Emulating the sticks with the DPad

Would it be possible to add a feature to emulate the sticks somehow with the DPad?

This would be really helpful for SNES controller conversion or converters made using the GCPlus as a base.

Maybe if a button is held when the controller starts up? Like if you hold Y or X?
