Suppose 4:3 open gate footage was shot on a 1.5x squeeze lens. The transcode will retain the full resolution, but the aspect ratio will be written as the squeezed size.
To get this treatment, the footage filename must match a user-provided regex, and the resolution must match a user-provided spec.

If using a shared proxy folder, it can fill up with old proxies over time. Purge can delete old (hopefully unused) proxies based on age in days.

Copies project media into the Original directory so that absolute MLT XML paths can be rewritten as relative. This allows a MLT project to be self-contained and easily archived.

Filenames in Timeline must match filenames in Original exactly, including extension.
