bots.clj.social's Issues

bot polluting the local server timeline

The official bot posts are polluting the local server timeline, this makes it more difficult to follow “real people” (non-bot accounts).

this is due to the low volume of people using the clj.social server, it was already a behavior given that it is a fediverse being used by clojure developers

We need to change the publishing status of the bots from Public to Unlisted, reference.

word filter before publishing

only publish content on mastodon if it contains a word from the list

example:
the feed of the juxtpro company blog does not contain only clojure content, we need to apply a filter to publish only content that is related to clojure

do not share a link that does not exist

all the links that arrive via feed should exist, but this is not an absolute truth when we are talking about feed aggregator (rss) - in our case the planets
