One thing I previously enjoyed was making beat-y patterns. I'm finding this much harder to do now. It would be nice if there was a way to snap cycles together.

gibberish.js solves some important issues (multiple browser support, and playback position feedback) but the sound quality compared to the original implementation is not great.

it is possible to compare the two implementations, by selecting the audio engine in audio.js before starting the app.

either there is something to be done about the sound quality in gibberish, or we need to switch to another solution. note that the original audio engine only works on chrome, and that will break soon too:

The state module does not update controllers, so they can get out of sync.

Should this stuff be handled by the state module? That would make more sense.

No time to do this now though :(

Perhaps it's because I'm 2 bottles of rose wine into my birthday, but I can't immediately see where this key/2 function comes from.

Is it in the global scope? If so, can we import it like a regular function in order to make module dependencies easier to reason about?

So we can a nice init function, and also so we can query it for the params used for it's latest fractal.
