Thanks for reporting @dmakaroff . This is actually a known issue with CLI core 2.0.34. A hot fix should be coming soon for Azure CLI. Until then we recommend skipping CLI core 2.0.34.

Azure CLI 2.0.37 was released today and should be working with the IoT extension. Please give it a shot.

Now I am getting the following error:
$ az iot hub device-identity list -n <hub-name>
No keys found for policy iothubowner of IoT Hub <hub-name>.
Works with 2.0.33.

@dmakaroff version 0.4.5 of the extension has the fix for that. It's basically caused by an increment in mgmt SDK version (with a slightly different spec). Please upgrade and this issue should be resolved.
