Tray icon does not hide

Regardless of the setting to hide the tray icon, the icon does not hide. The
registry setting that controls this feature changes from 1 to zero per the
documentation, however it has no effect. The icon is always displayed.

Copy As HTML and Strip certain PlainText characters

We have made some additions to PureText+ and I was wondering if you
would be interested in adding me as a project contributor so I can
commit my changes.

The changes that my company added are 2 new hoy keys/functions:

1.Convert clipboard contents to “plain text” - convert fancy characters
(like registered trademark, copyright, fancy single and double quotes,
etc.) to “plain text” ® -> (R), © - > (C), etc. and strip out all
non-printable characters. We use this for creating text emails.

2.Convert clipboard contents to “HTML” - convert fancy characters to the
correct escape strings. © - > ©, & -> &, etc. and strip out all
other characters that are non-printable or otherwise invalid in HTML. We
use this for creating web sites and HTML emails.

To paste the same text twice, you have to release and press the CTRL key again

In my example, I defined the hotkey to convert pure text to Ctrl-P. I can then
press Ctrl-P and paste the text. However I can't continue to hold the Ctrl key
and press the P again to paste the text a second time. It just types the
letter P. To paste it twice, I have to press Ctrl-P to paste once, release
both the Ctrl and P keys, and the press Ctrl-P again to paste a second time.
The Windows paste hotkey (Ctrl-V) allow it be done without releasing the Ctrl
key. PureText by Steve Miller also works this way. It would be nice if
PureTextPlus was consistent.

v.3.0.0.3 does not run properly in Win 7

1. Clicking on the puretext-plus exe file does not bring up the options screen,
nor is there an icon in the systray though the program seems to be running in
the background.

2. There is an HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Melloware\PureTextPlus registry item
but no \TrayIconVisible entry.

3. puretext-plus starts as expected on a computer running Win XP

Hotkey setting to convert to plain text does not stick

If you set the hotkey for converting to plain text, the setting is not
remembered the next time you run the program. It's remembered only for that
session. I set the hotkey to Ctrl-Shift-P. When I exit the program and
restart it, the settings are now Windows-P.

Ctrl-Shift hotkeys not working correctly

I'm having some problems with hotkeys when using Ctrl-Shift. Here's two
examples:
1. Define Ctrl-Shift-Q for plain text. Enable the option to paste text to the
active window. When you press Ctrl-Shift-Q, it doesn't paste the text. The
text is converted, but not pasted. I had similar issues with Shift-Q, Win-Q,
and Win-Shift-Q. Plain text only works for Ctrl-Q (or any other letter key).
2. Define Ctrl-Shift-Q for HTML text (I made sure Q is not still defined for
plain text). When you press Ctrl-Shift-Q, it doesn't do anything. The text
isn't converted nor pasted. Other key combinations aren't working either.
Only Ctrl-Q somewhat works. When I use that combination, the screen beeps
after pressing Ctrl-Q as if I had a bad key combination. However doing a paste
after that shows the converted text. But other key combinations (e.g. Ctrl-P,
Ctrl-N) do the application's hotkey instead of PureTextPlus hotkey (e.g. Ctrl-P
in MS Word will launch print dialog, Ctrl-N will open new window).
This was tested with version 3.0.0.3.

Does not work in Google Drive documents?

Hi

Not sure this is something that falls within your scope of fixable things, but
it seems your software doesn't work with Google Documents

Settings:
- Windows V to convert to pure text
- paste in active window
- play sound

In a Google Document, pressing the selected hotkey does play the sound but the
text isn't pasted (it's only converted to pure text, so you have to then press
ctrl V to actually paste it)

Thanks in advance if you can look into this :)
