Installation

Method 1: Download Release

Download MyTranslator.alfredworkflow from Releases
Double-click to install

Method 2: Manual Install

Usage

Open Alfred (Cmd + Space)
Type yd + space + word/phrase
Press Enter to copy result

Configuration (Optional)

Word History File

每次查询的单词会自动追加记录到 ~/mydic.txt, 方便日后复习. 可通过环境变量自定义文件路径:

export MYDIC_FILE="~/my_vocabulary.txt"

记录格式: 时间戳\t单词, 例如:

2026-03-29 10:30:00	happy
2026-03-29 10:31:00	remember

Youdao Official API

For higher quality translations with official Youdao API:

Register at Youdao AI Open Platform
Create a text translation application
In Alfred: Workflows → MyTranslator → Configure Workflow
Enter your App Key and App Secret

Without credentials, the workflow uses free Youdao Dictionary API which works great for most cases.
