bashstrap's Issues

[Question] additions to Bynen's dotfiles?

Hey Barry,
Cool project, I'm just wondering because I use Mathias Bynen's dotfiles already — what extra things are in bashstrap that aren't in his dotfiles, to help me deciding whether to switch.

Thanks a lot,

Jamie

Shows incorrect 'dirty' indication for Git repository

The prompt was working as intended since long. But lately, it's showing the * indication for clean repositories too. Behaviour is recurring even on a fresh OS install.

Details:
OS: Mac OS Sierra. Was also happening on El Capitan recently.

Taking up active development

I think this is a fun project and since the author seems to have moved on to other things, I've gone ahead and forked this repo with the intention of taking up active development, if anyone would like to submit issues or PRs.

Currently working on resolving issues and PRs from this repo. Will update once completed.

Bashstrap loading a different version of PHP

When I run php -i without bashstrap, it prints...

Loaded Configuration File => /usr/local/php5/lib/php.ini
PHP Version => 5.3.17

But when I run php -i with bashstrap enabled, it prints...

Loaded Configuration File => /private/etc/php.ini
PHP Version => 5.3.15

I use a different version of PHP, from liip, but why does bashstrap alter php to use the system version?

Issues using su

When I su, I get the following:

benjamin in ~
⚡ su
Password:
-ne
sh: parse_git_branch: command not found
root in /Users/benjamin
⚡

Does this script have to be installed for root as well?
