The x command doesn't properly delete the lines when multiple lines have been selected.

Depending on the extension of the file being edited, highlight its text based on the syntax of the language.

Add more documentation files to explain how different commands work.

When editing a long file (~800 lines), the editor crashes when you spam the down arrow key to scroll down. This will first bring the caret back up to the first line for some reason, and when you scroll back down again the editor will crash with the following message.

A fatal error has occured.

Exited the editor.

When selecting after scrolling horizontally, the highlight is not on the correct area.

This is likely a glitch with displaying the text rather than an incorrect computation.
