Description

We would like to be able to add events that are links to online resources. These do not have a date as they may be self-directed resources.

Expected behaviour

Online learning resources show up on a list of "events" and have a description that includes a link to the resource.

Actual behaviour

All events must have a start and end date associated with them.

Is this something that can be changed within the events plug-in? Research the possibility of adding these additional resources.

Concerned with the slow load speed of the website despite our extensive efforts to improve both page speed and PWA readiness, what has changed that killed our score?

Description

Google has started charging for the use of its API. Events Manager functionality is integrated tightly with Google maps.

Expected behaviour

Would like to evaluate the current API token used in all sites that use the map and transition the API token to a BCcampus controlled account, OR look at other options for a map service, or manage the potential costs associated with using the API.

Because of the decision to remove certificate hours from the 'post an event page' the functionality on the profile page that's tied to the data should be removed/disabled/hidden from view.

investigate whether or not using the existing set up for eypd can be used for this project.

Can we turn the eypd site (cert/prod) into a multisite instance?

1. Go into the backend, create the categories (resources, opportunities).

2. Create posts in each category, and they will be automatically added to the corresponding category archive page.

3. Create menu items for each category.

Add webhook for build.bcampus.ca in repo settings, and create/configure the Jenkins build job for this new repo.

Description

On the event page there is text that says "My TLPD" on left underneath the calendar. Remove this text.

Users won't need to add an image with their event, remove this field and functionality.

Adequate contrast is necessary for all users, especially users with low vision. Currently, there appears to be very low contrast between foreground and background colors. The minimum level should be AA (as per WCAG 1.4.3 contrast criteria).
