When the right extruder runs out of material during a print and the material is replaced the extruder ignores the home sensor and bangs against the side continually until the print is restarted. Can provide video if needed.

Menu window flashes thru all the calibration steps. Not letting me go thru the step by step calibration process. Started after firmware 02-2.0.8 was installed

Printer calibration failes at the first test when trying to move bed up and down to calibrate z axis for left nozzel. The Up and down arrow don't work at the screen. The arrows reacts for user press but the bed don't move.

I've been having a issue, starting today, with the Sigmax R19 LCD Screen being unresponsive and freezing during calibration and start up. I have tried power cycling and that have no effect on fixing the issue. The printer is on Firmware Version 2.0.7. It also seems to have an issue with aborting prints using the USB print. If there is anything I can check or try to fix the issue, I would appreciate the help.

Hi,

This isn't so much an issue but more a question on how to manipulate Cura to print a PLA base with a TPU hat so to speak. I've tried during the merge model method and haven't been successful in getting the software to correctly model what I am trying to do. Is there some setting that I am missing or is it not possible to have these dissimilar plastics printed together?

I have tried several times to write to the company BCN3D and to announce my mistake or my problem.

Now I was advised that I should turn to this forum, because I might be able to get more help here.

It is a "Sigmax R19" from "BCN3D".
From the beginning dual printing with both extruders did not work properly,
so I contacted the support of the company "BCN3D", but only got troubleshooting instructions,
which did not solve my problem and it was not addressed further.

So I turned to 3D printing forums and they advised me to use the software to control the printer's settings
Retrieve "ponterface" and calibrate the extruders over it.

Even with this software, it was not possible for me to calibrate each extruder individually,
which kept my problem going.

The following happens
when I start a print, the left extruder immediately feeds filament after calibration,
however, the printer switches heads, so using the right-hand extruder, I suddenly have under-extrusion.

If I now calibrate the right extruder via Ponterface and start printing again,
I have overextrusion on the left extruder and the right extruder fits perfectly.

To avoid errors in the calibration, I tried again to calibrate the left extruder,
same result as before, the "left" OK and perfect, the "right" under-extrusion.

It is not possible for me to calibrate each extruder individually via Ponterface,

ich habe schon mehrfach versucht die Firma BCN3D anzuschreiben und meinen Fehler oder mein Problem bekannt zu geben.

Nun wurde mir geraten, dass ich mich an dieses Forum wenden soll, da mir hier vielleicht eher geholfen werden kann.

Und zwar handelt es sich um einen "Sigmax R19" aus dem Hause "BCN3D".
Seit beginn an funktionierte das Dual-Drucken mit beiden Extrudern nicht ordnungsgemäß,
somit habe ich mich an den Support der Firma "BCN3D" gewandt, aber nur Fehlersuchanleitungen bekommen,
welche mein Problem aber nicht behoben haben und es wurde darauf auch nicht weiter eingegangen.

Also habe ich mich an 3D-Druck-Foren gewandt und diese rieten mir, die Einstellungen des Druckers über die Software
"Ponterface" abzurufen und die Extruder darüber zu kalibrieren.

Auch über diese Software, war es mir nicht möglich jeden Extruder einzeln zu kalibrieren,
wodurch mein Problem weiterhin bestehen blieb.

Es passiert folgendes,
wenn ich einen Druck starte, fördert der linke Extruder nach der Kalibrierung sofort Filament,
jedoch wechseln der Drucker die Köpfe, also verwendet er den rechten Extruder, habe ich plötzlich Unterextrusion.

Wenn ich nun über Ponterface den rechten Extruder kalibriere und den Druck erneut starte,
habe ich am linken Extruder Überextrusion und der rechte Extruder passt perfekt.

Um Fehler in der Kalibrierung zu vermeiden, hab ich noch einmal versucht den linken Extruder zu kalibrieren,
selbes Ergebnis wie zuvor, der "Linke" OK und perfekt, der "Rechte" Unterextrusion.

Es ist mir nicht möglich über Ponterface jeden Extruder für sich zu kalibrieren,
Man wählt den Extruder aus, passt ihn an, wechselt den Extruder und die Firmware übernimmt die Werte von der jeweils
anderen Extruder-Seite.

Anschließend hab ich mich wieder an das Forum gewendet und sie abermals um Hilfe gebeten.
Es wurde mir geraten die Hersteller-Seite "Configuration.h"-Datei anzusehen, dort solle ein Passus enthalten sein,
den ich ändern muss, damit ich beide Extruder separat kalibrieren kann.

Ich habe mir die Datei mit der "Version 2.0-2.0.8" x-mal angesehen und nichts gefunden.
Im Forum, dachten die Helfenden schon ich sei dumm.

Zwei Mitglieder machten sich die Mühe und sahen sich diese eben erwähnte Datei an.
Meinten aber dann, die Programzeile fehlt bei mir komplett, das Programm ist auch anders geschrieben,
wodurch es auch nicht so einfach sei, eine neue Datei zu schreiben, wenn man keine Kenntnisse habe.

Ich solle mich doch BITTE an den Support wenden und am besten hier versuchen, ob mir wer helfen kann,
um diesen Kalibrierungsfehler zu beheben.

Vom Support der Firma BCN3D, wie auch von der Marketing-Abteilung bekomme ich seit Längerem kein Feedback.
Den das erste mal, wurden die Probleme, bereits 3 Monate nach dem Kauf gemeldet,
aber wie eben oberhalb mitgeteilt, wurden mir nur Fehlersuchanleitungen gesendet, was aber nicht bei der Abhilfe zu meinem
Problem half. Erst auf einen negativen Kommentar über ein "BCN3D-Facebook-Forum" wurde mir nach 2 Jahren wieder Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt und ich wurde gebeten mit an das "Marketing" des Firma BCN3D zu wenden, was ich auch getan habe,
jedoch nach wie vor keine Antwort erhalten habe, auch habe ich es noch einmal per E-Mail an den Support und über die Support-Seite des Hersteller versucht, da ich aber Privatperson bin, will man mir anscheinend nicht helfen. :-(

Ich hoffe nun hier auf erfolgreiche Hilfe, das hier eine findige Person, mir vielleicht bei meinem jahrelangen Problem helfen kann.

P.S.: Ich habe im Anhang ein Bild von einem Befehl "M503" in Ponterface angehangen, vielleicht sieht der Helfende wo mein Problem liegt.
