Hi, I've compared the DOS SO2 and the Kilrathi Saga editions. The music for Jazz's Courtroom scene where Tolwyn is talking is not missing from the stream files included in Kilrathi Saga, however the game fails to load the music. The Music track that should play is located at gameflow.str from times 24:13 - 26:15. If you open the gameflow.str file in Audacity with 22050Khz and jump to that timestamp you'll see what I mean. Is there any way to patch SO2.exe so the music works? There's also a few other small things going wrong with the audio like a weird clicking noise as if the game is trying to load non-audio data that's in the audio stream when transitioning from the courtroom to the waterloo shot.

not sure if this is a known issue but didn't see in the readme. FYI.

Hello, just wanted to report that I can't launch WCDX on a non-SSE2 processor (tested an AMD Sempron and Intel Celeron, both running Windows XP, nVidia GeForce 5200/5500). Original Kilrathi Saga executable works fine. (But then I wouldn't get your music fix, planets fix, and the poster! :) )

Appreciate all your hard work on this (it works beautifully on my more modern Win10 system)!

When flying the Dralthi, the position that your mass driver projectiles are emitted from changes when switching between the cockpit view and the HUD only view.

If implemented well, 3D positional audio can greatly improve immersion. Check out for instance this video with headphones: Doom II: Hell on Earth w/ 3D spatial sound in GZDoom 🎧 (OpenAL Soft HRTF audio)

When run through virustotal the file reported 16 infections in musicpatch.exe. Also, wcpatch.exe reports 9 infections. The dll file was clean. I have linked the virus reports below. This is version 2.2

This is a bit of a crazy one, I've been tinkering around with a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2. I figured I'd ask here since you are already hooking the executables. If you can hook the variables for when the player ship guns and missiles are firing, as well as the afterburner and can differentiate what each gun/missile type is. Then it should be possible to make custom force feedback effects for each weapon and a rumble effect for the Afterburner... I'd be willing to help with the creation of the effects code/force feedback part. But I don't know howto hook the executable. If you'd be willing to jump on a quick chat with me I'd like to go through how the hooking process works.
