About Noble

Noble is a Minecraft shaderpack that enhances one's experience with the help of good-looking graphics and light simulations. It aims for realism, but it is possible to adapt it to smaller configs.

Releases

The project is in constant evolution. Therefore, you can expect some issues to be fixed, some features to be added, and some problems to appear. However, it will remain free and open source forever, as I don't want to monetize my learning of GLSL. Exclusive versions are most likely to be exclusive to Patreon supporters or close friends, but they will always end up being accessible to public no matter what.

Requirements

  • Optifine / Iris for 1.16 or newer (older versions and 1.17 aren't supported)
  • A Nvidia graphics card (GTX 950 or newer) OR an AMD graphics card (R7 370 or newer)
  • Windows or Linux (MacOS and Mesa Linux aren't supported)

⚠️ MAKE SURE TO UNZIP THE FILE FIRST

License

Noble is licensed under the GPL v3.0 License. Please consider reading the terms before modifying / distributing this project.

noble's Issues

I am getting this error: deferred3.fsh: deferred3.fsh: 0(484) : error C1503: undefined variable "atmosphereRayPosition"

I ran the shaders for the first time in 1.20.1, and they worked fine, I went into the settings to do some tweaking, and after making changes, when I tried to apply them, the shaders failed to load. I then tried tweaking the settings to see what was the problem, and they still won't load. I have tried changing the settings to the different presets, but they still won't load. I've also tried reloading the game, and they still fail to load, and give me the same error.

Why do the color looks so weird

Shader ver.: NobleRT v.1.4.1
Shader loader: iris-mc1.20-1.6.4
Issue: I feel that the color is blue and green, and there are many small black dots in the game screen.

very bright light (bug)

Shader ver.: NobleRT v.1.3.3
Shader loader: iris mc1.19.4-1.6.3
Issue: when entering or leaving buildings and when being outside in general, the light at default settings is too bright

max 30 fps at default settings

Shader ver.: NobleRT v.1.3.3
Shader loader: iris mc1.19.4-1.6.3
Issue: when the character does not move at a maximum fps of 30, when moving, lags immediately appear with a drop in fps to 15. if we take the Seuss ptgi hrr\e12 shaders as a comparison, then it gives 60 fps stably. even when lowering the settings, the fps practically does not move from 30
