Планируется ли вообще поддерживать в актуальном состоянии данный репо?
Последняя версия bem-components 2.5.1, а тут до сих пор 2.4.0, в котором есть баг с сериализацией чек-боксов.
В своих проектах использую лишь i-bem.js в связке с bem-components без всех остальных средств БЭМ, поэтому очень удобно было использовать данный репо вместо ручной сборки.

bemhtml templates could be compiled with alternate xjst engines, eg upcoming vidom engine.
Would be useful to have only concatenated but not compiled templates in dist.

Not all developers are using bower to install libraries. Sometimes only npm enough to install both server and client modules.

But now I cant install bem-components event from direct link on Github, because npm refuses to install modules without package.json

I think users should have more control about how they use dist in their projects. Now the way blocks initialised is absolutely impossible to understand, as BemDom.init() calls on the next tick after domready event occurs. This may lead to weird situations if several frameworks are in use on the page.

using bem-components.css causes 404 errors:
GET https://domain.tld/libs/design/common.blocks/theme/_islands/tip.svg 404 (Not Found)
