So far the only place in our app that requires us to request explicit Camera Permission is Berbix. I believe this is because of the react-native-camera. Looking in that repo I uncovered an issue where they discuss how to get the Camera Intent to launch the camera without the explicit permission (think it's both iOS and Android):

When I review Android documentation (https://developer.android.com/training/camera/photobasics#TaskCaptureIntent ), the discussion is around only apps that are predominately doing camera stuff should need the Camera Permission, other apps have access to taking photos through the Capture Intent.

We would like to be able to use Berbix without forcing more permissions on our users to accept than our app should need.

I was wondering if you are planning on supporting autolinking ?

Right now, the only option I see uses react-native link and that is due to be deprecated in favour of auto linking as described her in react-native-cli's documentation:

I was also wondering if you were planning on putting together a guide for manual linking?

EDIT: just realized that the only dependency being linked here is react-native-camera, you can ignore this issue!

In the past few years, Flutter has been gaining trend over React Native due to its stability, performance, fast development speed, animations, etc. Our company is planning to rewrite our react-native project in Flutter. But, I noticed that Berbix doesn't have a wrapper for Flutter yet. Do you guys have a plan for creating a wrapper for Flutter anytime soon?

If not, this will be a deal-breaker for our company, and we need to evaluate other alternatives.
