This isn't an issue so much as a feature request.
We should be able to show a thumbnail of the video while loading.

We can do this by calling http://i.ytimg.com/vi//0.jpg

So given video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0Stg0f1360
The thumbnail is : http://i.ytimg.com/vi/Y0Stg0f1360/0.jpg

we can replace the 0.jpg with default.jpg for smaller thumbnails too :D

This will probably be tricky since some proxies redirect to an access denied page (including ours) but if for some weird reason we actually end up opening a tab with youtube.com in the address bar it would be cool to try and actually display an iframe in it.

This looks like its related to the jQuery embed in our component.

This issue is kinda annoying, I think we can pass a parameter to the video player and disable auto play.

What do you think?

My suggestion is to revise the document.onclick scenario and try to detect when embed objects are created after or during the event.

Issue with links in Gmail.

The player should be able to get the title of the currently playing video from YouTube and display it in the title of the dialogbox.

Improve video quality if possible.

I'm not sure why, but youtube links in gmail chat are not working. I suspect that this is related to the embed issue.
