Compiling

You may compile with any version of Visual Studio > 2012, primarily you should use VS 2022, but you can even use VS 2013 if you don't run Windows 10 and up.

Cannot see other entities

Sometimes all entities are invisible and you have to kill in console to restore vision, why?

'inhand' getprop returns wrong value

It should return 1 while an item is in the players hands, but currently, it will return 1 if it has ever been held or is in a pack.

CharacterCreation Crash

If you backspace in the name text field it will crash the game? Editing the name is not allowed? Check GUI code...

translation support

Inventory Scroll Scale Bug

If you have lots of containers on your main, scroll to the bottom, and then go on a newbie alt, the scrollbar will not reset @ you will not be able to see the player hand, your small sack, etc. Properly refresh this UI on spawn or something...

Fix buffer overflows

There's plenty of these issues lying around, replace with snprintf, or similar!

• sprintf(sz, "%s %s", "stuff" "here") should be snprintf(sz, sizeof(sz), "%s %s", "stuff", "here")
• strcpy(sz, "blah") should be strncpy(sz, "blah", sizeof(sz))
• ...

The easiest solution would be to write some script in for ex. Python to convert all of these func calls to the appropriate funcs
(utils/python/* for examples).
