Your tweet at https://twitter.com/BigZaphod/status/1389706688534663173 made me clone this repo. I can confirm the bug on a iPhone SE (2016) with iOS 14.5.1.
One remark: I kept the app running and suddenly the 'Race Lady' started talking again. Apparently you put the video in a loop. When it started all over again the sound returned.
