This repository aims to provide a Metalsmith builder which runs templates and generates light, acessible and performant websites.

Builder Static Site Generator

Before you start using the builder ssg you need to make sure that you have installed all required software tools.

1. Install Node.js and npm

You can use a Node installer to install both Node.js and npm on your system.

2. Check your Node.js installation

Open up your terminal.
$ node --version
$ npm --version

The output of each of those commands should be a version number. If entering those commands doesn’t show you a version number, go back and make sure you have installed Node.js.

3. Clone or Download builder-ssg

You will need builder-ssg in your machine, you can clone or download to your machine.

4. Install Dependencies

Open up your terminal and cd into your folder.
$ npm install
