Skype (Unofficial)

Skype chat and outgoing voice calls on Ubuntu Touch. Video calls are
not working yet; the Skype team (not us!) is working on this.

This web app makes the Skype web version available on Ubuntu Touch
mobile devices by help of a User Agent override (mimicking Chromium
Web browser on a Ubuntu Linux desktop). Without that Skype's web
version displays a "Not available on this device yet" message on most
mobile platforms as of today.

Messaging will work, voice calls too, video calls are not available
yet. Notifications are limited too, both for incoming calls (when the
app is active) and all other notifications when the app is in the
background; we can do little about this: Canonical must provide a
notification infrastructure, which the Skype team would have to use.
Note that most if not all limitations will almost certainly depend on
Microsoft implementing the necessary feature on the web version and the
target platform.

This web app is not affiliated with Microsoft who owns Skype.
The Skype name, associated trade marks and logos and the "S" logo are
trade marks of Skype or related entities.

Build and publish the .click package manually, without Ubuntu SDK:
- Install `click` on your developer machine (`sudo apt-get install click`)
- Make sure you have bumped the version number in `manifest.json`
- `cd` into the project repo folder and build the package (`click build .`)
- Upload the created .click file at https://myapps.developer.ubuntu.com
