Interactivist Community Action Network(ICAN)¶ ↑

System dependencies:¶ ↑

• Ruby 2.3+

• Rails 5+

• Postgresql

• phanton.js (for testing)

Deployment instructions:¶ ↑

• Clone repository into desired directory

• cd ican

• Database creation:

  • Add your postgres username and password in config/database.yml

  • rails db:create

  • rails db:migrate

  • rails db:seed (for test data)

• Start server: rails s

• Navigate to http://localhost:3000

• User Authentication by Devise

• Location Geocoding

• Bootstrap Framework

• Action Channel subscriptions for Instant Messaging
