Not sure if you're using this at Bloom & Wild, but if you're thinking about automating dependency updates then you might want to give the tool I built, Dependabot, a try. It does a couple of thousand Ruby updates each week these days, pulls in more security advisory data than any of the competitors, and I'm the guy who rewrote Bundler's dependency resolution algorithm last year to improve it for everyone and make it possible for tools like this to be robust. And I'm also a Bloom & Wild customer, and a friend of one of your old employees, Walt!
