great! 👍

best thing would be to number a selection in the layer list top down (no matter if it's artboards, groups, layers). a nice twist would be the ability to specify the starting number per numbering process. an example: imagine you have 15 artboards in the layer list, sequentially sorted from top to bottom. but you want 3 separate number groups: the first 5 artboards prefixed 01-05, the next 06-10, then 11-15 …

I think https://github.com/rodi01/RenameIt does a pretty good job (apart from constant random crashes)! you can do number groups like this:

Selection -> Rename It -> 0%n *
Selection -> Rename It -> 1%n *
Selection -> Rename It -> 2%n *
etc.
