Joker is a simple Wildcard (a.k.a Glob Pattern) implementition for Ruby.

Features

• Behaves much like Regexp
• * and ? as wildcard characters
• \ for escaping: \? matches ?, \* matches *, \[ matches [, \] matches ],
• But for all other characters: \a matches \a, but not a
• Wildcards must always match whole string (thus uiae will only match the string uiae)
• Wildcards can be case insensitive

wild = Wildcard['Fairy?ake*']

wild =~ 'Fairycake'                     #=> true
wild =~ 'Fairyfakes'                    #=> true
wild =~ 'Fairylake is a cool place'     #=> true

joker's Issues

With rails on Ubuntu

I tried to add the joker gem to my rails project on ubuntu. I get the following error:

/gems/activesupport-3.2.13/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:251:in `require': cannot load such file -- /ruby-1.9.3-p125@rails32x/gems/joker-1.0.0/lib/joker_native (LoadError)

Is there something I am missing here.
