What is our design?

We figured out the frameworks thing, now what are we going to design the website?

Planning

Hey everyone!

Our goal for the website is a modern, clean, uncrowded look that has everything, but isn't bulky and over-detailed. It needs to be just as mobile-compatible as it is desktop-compatible.

I'm putting a basic TODO list here - once an idea has been discussed and approved, I'll edit this post and add that thing to the list.

TODO:

  • About page
  • Projects page: GitHub API
  • Application/join page
  • Discord invite in menu

Once again - don't commit directly! Use pull requests.

Also - try not to clutter this up with arguments or spam! Discussion that contributes to the planning is fine, but debate over unrelated things is not. Don't comment with emojis or reactions such and "lol", "we" or "no". Instead react directly to the comment you are responding to. This is an issue for planning (ideas, progress, and the discussion of those) - if you don't have anything to add react with a thumbs up or thumbs down to vote.

Use a CDN

Currently, with Font Awesome inside our project itself, it causes for a lot of clutter that could be removed. It also leads to longer load times for users, because we're not using a CDN. Switching to a CDN would also be very simple.
