./eth.py -v 3 does not work as expected
expected: same debug level as -L :DEBUG
list_ienc mutates it's argument for no good reason
the docstring says "recursively big endian encode all integers in a list inplace".
the function returns the modified list.
it's used like
def send_packet(self, peer, data):
"""
4-byte synchronisation token, (0x22400891),
a 4-byte "payload size", to be interpreted as a big-endian integer
an N-byte RLP-serialised data structure
"""
payload = rlp.encode(list_ienc(data))from reading that code one would expect the data argument to be not modified.
