Walksy.com was created for the Google I/O Last Call Maps/Geo Round 2 Challenge by Brendan Nee. The source code is available on github.
Walksy.com makes walking tours of interesting things based on a specified start point.For walking tours staring in San Francisco, the points of interest come from a google Fusion table with hand-picked points of interest in San Francisco, CA by Brendan Nee. For all other starting locations, points of interest are pulled from SimpleGeo's Places API
