My name is Julian. I'm brightsparc on the internet 🌐. I'm currently based in Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺, working remotely on buliding a Generative AI stealth startup for talent teams. Previously I lead platform engineering remotely for Predibase, after 4 years at Amazon Web Serivces where as a Principal Solutions Architect I focused on helping customers on their MLOps journey. Prior to that I was applied data scientist building search and recommendations products.

containerday's Issues

VPC Subnet B setup issues

I was able to follow the instructions for setting up Subnet A, but when setting up Subnet B I was asked to choose an availability zone. Is this something that should be mentioned in the docs or am I doing something wrong?

Public DNS -> Public IP?

Under Lab 1.4: you say:

ssh -i cert.pem ec2-user@[public DNS]

But there is no public DNS for the instance.

Did you mean Public IP?

Which AMI to choose for EC2 instance?

Under Lab 1.4: Launching the WorkStation, you recommend to choose the "Amazon Linux AMI 2017.03.0" image, but the top one is "Amazon Linux AMI 2018.03.0". Does this line in your documentation need to be updated?
