lorem-ipsum-4's Issues

Add GameSnapshot

Refactoring move these into the snapshot:

  • NPC's
  • Rooms
  • Player
  • Clues

Add ScenarioBuilder class

Refactor our all the game generation stuff into one class, such that we can generate a GameSnapshot #31 from the data generated here.

Fix artifacts

Simple fix, move the tileset over from the past assessment.

Dialog input?

So we all know the 5 seconds that it took for a dialog to go to the next one was excessive, especially with the Hello message.

How do we want to change this? This should be a simple implementation as JAAPAN already included a skip handler

Either
Space to Continue show up at the bottom of the dialog
OR
Some sort of math to take the average reading speed and the length of the string displayed to calculate when to move on.

Discuss

Improve music system.

I don't fully like how it works. I want to create a seperate music class and make the music change between screens. ie: different music during main menu, narrator screen, normal rooms and murder room.
If time allows then even a music change during accusations...

We could implement items to hinder the opponent.

My idea involved just having more glints, no physical items.
When you find them, you just get a text box saying ie: "Press 'f' at any point during the game to reduce the number of interactions allowed by your opponent in the next turn by 1"
or:
"Press 'x' to halve your opponent's speed for 45 seconds", etc

Simplify Input

Rather than having the game use lots of different input systems could we just simplify it to use WASD and either Space xor Enter??

Vishal-Skins class bug

The skin works perfectly everywhere except the 2 speechbox buttons. When you find a clue and speak to a character, the "Question" and "Ignore" buttons have the correct skin however have a white/grey line through the middle of them. Initially I thought it was because the previous team gave the text a background but I can't seem to find that anywhere. I'm not sure what's causing the bug :/

Earning extra points in Secret Room

I don't think an issue for this exists but we did discuss this in other issues. The map I made contains a cash pile in the final part of the room. This cash pile has been given a special property, the idea I had was that finding this would increase your score by a random amount. This won't take me long to implement but I just want everyone's thoughts on this before I get it done.
