It looks like Forza reads from both the real Xbox controller and the software one at more or less the same time. This means that if you're standing still, head tracking works great. As soon as you start driving/steering, the game assumes you only want to give input from the hardware controller.

Possible workarounds:

• Open the hardware controller as a DirectInput device in exclusive mode. WIll Forza respect exclusive mode?
• Use some other controller, like a DS4. This also requires DirectInput, but should only expose one XInput device to Forza.
• Convince Turn10 to fix this. :(

When on any menu, the game seems to be getting either Dpad Up + Left or right stick Up + Left. This makes it very difficult to navigate the menus.

Workarounds:

• Disable ForzaTrackIR while using menus. Turn it back on while playing. Forza seems to handle this just fine.
• Use a mouse while using menus. As long as the cursor is moving, it overrides the input from the gamepad.

Vibration is not supported. We need two things to make it work:

• Ability to read vibration being sent to ScpDriver.
• Ability to send vibrations to DS4.

Uncertain whether either or both of those exist.
