Web proxy for App Engine
Hello,
I have request maybe you need imporve litle design, this project need form like savefrom.net the reason is user easy to type without delete text, i hope you can add this feature.
Thank You :)
I know that you put in links for mirrorrr-plus, but I was getting a bunch of errors, even running it manually (dev_appserver.py) doesn't work. The error was something like python was too old, you need to indicate threadsafe, and when I set the python version python to python27, typed threadsafe: true (it has to be true or else a bunch of errors), and still, errors. Any help appreciated.
The default User-Agent is "AppEngine-Google".
How I can change it?
I'm trying to set up the proxy server in Chrome (also in Android), where every web request should be first sent to the proxy server, which then decides whether to send the original page or a page optimized for faster mobile downloads. If I go to https://mirrorrr.appspot.com/techcrunch.com the page loads, but if I set the Chrome proxy server settings to https://mirrorrr.appspot.com, and then go to techcrunch.com, then no webpage loads.
How can I get every single web page to redirect to https://mirrorrr.appspot.com (eventually my app domain), so I can take action on my server and send a more optimized page (compression etc)?
Thanks!
Hello,
Your app is great. I love it.
My requirement is little different.
I want to use it as my dedicated SSL Proxy for my own website.
I want http://my-ssl.appspot.com will be always SSL site of my website http://my-site.com
How to do this ?
I'm trying to access REST API of twitter through proxy.
I followed the instructions and setup the proxy. When I try manually, it works fine.
However, I want to do GET/POST requests through this proxy.
So, when I access https://.appspot.com/api.twitter.com/....
I get an error, 'SSL is required'
Any idea how to resolve this issue ?
TIA.
Tks for contributing this code! :-)
Is it possible to us this as a conventional http proxy and use it via python requests as follows?
import requests
proxies = {
"http": "http://myapp.appspot.com:8080",
"https": "http://myapp.appspot.com:8080",
}
requests.get("http://example.org", proxies=proxies)
I have tried it unsuccessfully...
any pointers?
