A JavaScript implementation of the BT Openlink API.

Usage

1. Install NodeJS - https://nodejs.org/en/download/
2. (Optional) Configure proxies

    npm config -g set proxy http://proxy.example.com:8080
    npm config -g set https-proxy http://proxy.example.com:8080

3. Install grunt

    npm install -g grunt-cli

4. Fetch the dependencies

    npm install

5. Package everything

    grunt

Unable to record a voice message in IE11

In IE11, requesting the ability to record a voice message sends a ManageVoiceMessage#Record request, but does not dial the extension number returned from VMS.

Investigate feasibility of a stanza.io plugin

The stanza.io library can make use of plugins for creating XMPP packets - https://github.com/legastero/stanza.io/blob/HEAD/docs/Create_Plugin.md

Investigate the feasibility, and if possible implement (at least some of) SDK using this plugin mechanism.

IE11; 'Promise' is undefined

The test harness (and/or possibly the library itself) will report the following error in IE11:

SCRIPT5009: 'Promise' is undefined
stanzaio.bundle.min.js (1,7936)

Note; previous versions of the test harness were working in IE11. Either an IE11 patch of change to the test harness has changed behaviour.

Use npm for sample dependencies

The test harness / sample contained within the sample folder contains a number of dependencies (jquery, stanzio, etc).

Use npm to manage these dependencies rather than include them in the source distribution.

Remove jQuery requirement

The library has an explicit dependency on jQuery. This is a legacy requirement from earlier versions of the BT Collaboration Server WebSocket implementation, and is no longer necessary.

The only jQuery methods still used are $.trim() and $.parseXML() both of which could easily be replaced, reducing the overhead of the library.

Publish to npm

Make better use of npm by publishing the resulting artefact to the npm repository.
