Using InfinityLoader.ini on Linux and Steam Deck

Hi, I'm trying to execute InfinityLoader.exe on a Steam Deck where it would be easier if I could have it be named for the actual BG2 executable (BaldursGateII). After looking at the code, I've created InfinityLoader.ini in the BG2 Steam install folder, next to InfinityLoader.exe and associated files. Its contents are:
[General]
ExeNames=BaldursGateIIreal

Renamed the BaldursGateII executable to BaldursGateIIreal and InfinityLoader.exe to BaldursGateII. This isn't working, though I thought it should from the code. Any pointers as to how to achieve this? I'd like to use EEex and Spell Menu on the Deck if possible.

Used this on Windows with no problems in the past, so thank you!
